Hirasawa Yui, an air-headed high school student still haven’t decided on which club to join in. Her encounter with Ritsu and Mio upon hearing about the Light Music club made her curious. Since she really has no talent at any aspects, she can’t handle sports, and she’s not artsy either. So what really is her specialty?!
Ritsu and Mio are close friends. When Ritsu knew that the Light Music Club disbanded, she decided to start anew and forcibly asked Mio to join. Their encounter with Tsumugi made her the third member of the club. The minimum requirement for a club to be officially recognized is to have a minimum of 4 members. But how can they pull off another member in 1 month?!
Only a week left and they still haven’t got someone to join. Yui made her mind however and joined the club without any knowledge of music, except for her childhood flashback of playing castanets. Even so, Ritsu, Mio and Tsumugi needed her so they convinced her even more because Yui was planning to quit. In the end Yui joined the cause, because she’ll be having sweets from now on.
Yui is dumb in a cute way. I have a thing for dumbxcute characters alright. On her free time, she admitted that she just bum around and during summer, she’ll just roll around. Who the heck would do something like that? 😀
When Yui’s bestfriend knew that she was officially part of the club, she really understood the situation because she knows her bestfriend is a real air head. Yui doesn’t even know how an electric guitar cost 😀
Tsumugi is a potential rich girl, when she told Ritsu and Mio that it was her first time in a fast food restaurant, they were shocked. Even her suggestion of giving a villa to the final member was too much.
I wonder why Mio was the one singing in the Ed when in fact Tsumugi planned to join the chorister club.
Over-all I find this series pretty entertaining and interesting, the art really reminds me of Haruhi Suzumiya but in a lighter version, not that detailed and kinda sketchy. I love the Ed and Op too!
Final verdict: A+
